Paint the Town Green! is sponsored by SOLVE (originally Stop Oregon Litter and Vandalism) and it’s bringing together several Southeast / East Portland neighborhoods to pick up trash and paint over graffiti along 82nd Ave on June 16th. There’s a team for Brentwood-Darlington, and you can sign up here.
If you missed it, Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon (APANO) announced the lineup for Mic Check!, their summer cultural events series. The first event is the Queer APIs + Mental Health Roundtable on June 6th at Taborspace.
Just one week until the Portland Pickles home opener! They’re also accepting submissions from people who want to sing The National Anthem before the game!
The Office of Neighborhood Involvement, the City bureau that oversees neighborhood associations and an assortment of other community-based programs, just completed a $25,000 re-branding, Willamette Week reports.
